The Setup
Where
Fifty minutes before the livestream, in your small home studio. Only you and your guest are in the test call; the audience has not joined yet.

You run an AI tools channel with both Chinese and English viewers. Alex is an overseas indie developer you met on X. This is your first live session together.
At stake
Alex will demo an unreleased feature. His screen shows a test key and a private repo name. Half the viewers are Chinese, so questions may come in Chinese. One slip is a real problem for him.
Mood
Friendly but rushed. Alex asks about the time the moment he joins, so he is worried about the time difference. He speaks fast; everything on your side is working.
